‘Peace and security: the vision of women on the ground’, the third event of the cycle of debates within the contest Defensa y Yo 2.0, which took place on March 30, 2022, at 16.00h, via Zoom Pro. It will count with the participation of the experts:
Colonel Rachel Sherrer, Civil Affairs, U.S. Army in Europe and Africa.
Iratxe Perea, professor of International Relations at the UPV/EHU and Director of the Master in International Studies.
Inés Sánchez de Madariaga, Director of the UNESCO Gender Chair at the Politécnica University of Madrid and Chair of the Gender Advisory Group to the Executive Director of UN-Habitat.
The debate was conducted in English and Spanish, and was moderated by Cristina Manzano, director of esglobal. Simultaneous translation was also provided.
After the meeting, the participating students will be able to develop and present their projects individually following the instructions and according to the contest rules, and will opt to win a trip to Brussels. To be eligible for the prize, students must have participated in at least two of the debates of the cycle.
