“NATO, Russia, China and the International Order”, the second event of the cycle of debates within the contest Defensa y Yo 2.0, took place on Thursday, March 3, 2021, at 16.30h, via Zoom Pro. It counted with the participation of the experts:

Theresa Fallon, founder and director of the Center for Russia and Asia Studies (CREAS) in Brussels and member of the US-China national committee.

David García Cantalapiedra, Professor at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and expert author on security, defense and international relations.

Josep Ibáñez, Professor at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) and researcher in technology, security and global governance issues.

The debate was conducted in English and Spanish, and was moderated by Cristina Manzano, director of esglobal. Simultaneous translation was also provided.

After the meeting, the participating students will be able to develop and present their projects individually following the instructions and according to the contest rules, and will opt to win a trip to Brussels. To be eligible for the prize, students must have participated in at least two of the debates of the cycle.
